This week’s daily devotions will be from Jonah. Today, read Jonah chapter 1. As you read, think about these 5 questions:

1. Verse 3- What might cause people run from the presence of the Lord?

2. Verse 4- Can anyone truly escape God’s presence?

3. Verses 5,6- Jonah had no problem sleeping in his disobedience while others are about to die! How might this apply to our lives?

4. Verses 8-10- Jonah’s disobedience caused a storm in the life of the other men on board. What does this teach us about our choice to obey or disobey God’s will for our life?

5. Verse 16- Life’s storms are not very enjoyable. However, God is always working all things for the good! How did this storm effect those on board with Noah?
